Here is the spirit of the legendary gang of New York! Dreamed, distilled and matured in Ireland, the Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey is a unique five-year-old blend of Irish malt and grain whiskey first aged in seasoned bourbon casks for five years and then finished in virgin American oak. The result is real depth and character over a lingering note of bourbon vanilla sweetness. The Dublin Liberties Distillery is the home and soul of the Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey. Right in the rebellious heart of inner city Dublin. But no truly great Irish Whiskey is without a great Master Distiller. That attitude that The Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey has? Well, that’s from Darryl McNally. As Master Distiller of The Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey, Darryl is responsible for all aspects of production, from selecting the grains to be used to create each whiskey, to carefully blending and distilling the liquid to achieve whiskies of the highest quality possible. His skill and passion for whiskey-making is evident from the care and effort he puts into the process and from the success of the DLD brands, which are amongst the fastest-growing Irish Whiskies in the world today. Daryl has over 20 years in the Irish whiskey industry. He started his career as an apprentice at Ireland’s oldest distillery where he worked for 17 years, eventually achieving his goal of becoming Master Distiller in 2007. As a member of the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, Darryl won the Worshipful Company of Distillers Award in 2010, achieving the highest mark worldwide.
