The Mill on the Hill
Tomnavoulin is a little village in the heart of Speyside with a distillery, the Tamnavulin Distillery. Housed in a large old mill, its name refers to the village and the whisky: Tomnavoulin is Gaelic for “mill on the hill”. With one brief gap, premium Speyside whiskies have been distilled here since 1966: full-bodied, smooth and mild with a crisp character. The ingredients come from the region, the spring water is some of the purest in Scotland due to natural limestone filtration. The bourbon and sherry casks are all selected by hand by the 12-strong team of distillers.
